This is so hard to narrow down, but I've got to say that Oscar Blandi dry shampoo is amazing. I have fine hair and I get that greasy crown late in the day, so does my husband, and this powder makes it drier and adds volume.
Maria Evora Beach Rose body cream! Smells fantastic after my nightly shower and makes my sheets smell good too.
And finally, that Origins peppermint-y face wash. Foamy, sudsy, but non-drying and great smelling!

Noxema Deep Cleansing Cream...since 1955 when I was 13...never missed a day for cleansing my face and using for occasional 'sun burn'.
Oil of Olay - Original Beauty Fluid my only facial moisturizer since 1979. (When my favorite Noxema moisturizer 'disappeared'.)
Revlon 'one step makeup' - #06 Honey Beige along with Maybelline's 'Mocha Ice' lipstick & Cover Girl classic color blush...and to 'top' it all off, L'Oreal 'Golden Brown' hair color. This is more then three products, but I'd need them all for that 'left on a desert island' thing that I keep hearing about. :)

I already posted three - but I forgot! My all time favorite is my new skin care regime! Coconut or grapeseed oil and a little castor oil are the only things that are used to "clean" my face these days, and my skin has never looked better. And I am acne-prone! Also, add a little baking soda to the oil and rub it on the lips for a great exfoliator. It couldn't be cheaper, or easier!

My top-of-the-list favorite make-up product is Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion --- it makes eyeshadow and eyeliner stick to lids all day. Second, I would say Bare Escentuals Multi-tasking Face Minerals in Summer Bisque. I have a hard time matching my neutral-with-slightly-yellow-tones skin, and this really does the trick. Third would be Prescriptives Vibrant-C Skin Brightening Eye Cream. I dab just a little under my eyes after all the rest of my makeup is done. I do this instead of any concealers, and it's just enough to diffuse any darkness and eliminate any crepiness from powders.

That's my three!

1. Suave moisturizing conditioner - to shave my legs!
Leaves 'em silky smooth and my legs don't feel dry.
2. Walgreen's brand vitamin E face creme
3. L'Oreal hair color conditioner (comes in the haircolor box) - you can buy a 'regular size' it at Sallys Beauty Supply and use it every day if you like!

For curly hair, Got2Be Kinky mousse (in an orange bottle with a purple top) is the best product I've ever used. It keeps the curls together and makes for less frizz. It is wonderful! I've tried so many gels, mousses, and balms, and when I found this one a few years ago, I never bought another product!

BWC(Beauty Without Cruelty) facial moisturizer, it's not greay and keeps my skin feeling smoothe. I love products that don't harm animals.

Posted by: Sharla| January 21, 2008 at 03:43 PM

-Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E....it's been around since our Grandma's day and it still works great as lip balm or dry cuticles or little chaps or owies. Plus it smells completely yummy! In the tub or swivel stick...it's the best!
-Chanel Glossimer Lip Gloss. It lasts a long time and feels sooo good on my lips. My favorite colors are hibiscus and force. A treat for your lips!
-Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion. I love how this turns my skin around and sloughs off all the dead stuff. Its great for sensitve skin or skin thats prone to break outs, like mine. Love it!

I'm going to second (third? fourth?) the bit about Philosophy Products. They all smell so wonderful and make me feel fresh and lovely.
Some other favorites...

-Be Fine Gentle Cleanser (with sugar, mint, oats, and rice) ...oh, it's so refreshing and the perfect way to wake up in the morning.
-Be Fine Moisturizer - VERY light but it definitely does the trick, and goes great under foundation.
-L'Oreal True Match foundation - it's so light I can't feel it and yet it gives great coverage and actually matches my VERY fair, pinkish skin (hard to do, let me tell you).
-those little round cotton pad things are so great for taking off eye makeup and nail polish. I couldnt' live without them. Or at least I'd be very annoyed.

C-Curl by Modern Organic Product is the best hair styling product a curly girl could ever have. This fabulous product defrizzes, curls, controls and all without looking overly stiff or sticky. This has replaced my prior collections of mousse, defrizzer, and gels. Giovanni conditioner in the shower, follwe by their leave in conditioner top it off with C-curl and this curly-girl's curls look hot all day!!!

Kiehl's Sodium PCA oil free facial moisturizer. It isn't cheap, but it lasts, a little goes a long way. I hate feeling greasy, but I put this all over my face after a shower and it soaks in super quickly. I am 42, but I regularly am told I have beautiful skin and that I look 10 years younger. I love this stuff. Wish they had it in lotion form for the body.

Purity facial cleanser by Philosophy, Raisin Quartz mascara by Almay, Patricia Wexler's Universal Anti-Aging Moisturizer SPF 30 (not that I'm aging at all!)

Posted by: Margaret| January 20, 2008 at 03:14 PM

Being that the skin is the bigest organ on our body I am very concious about what products I put on it. I have made a conscious decision to age gracefully but that does not mean I have to age prematurelly ;-). Therefore, I use all Burt's Bee's products which are, sometimes, labeled as even being 100% natural. Every one of their products lists the precentage of ingredients found in nature. It really makes me feel good knowing that I am doing something good for my skin. I think the part of the glow comes from my happiness and partly from my Burt's Bee's natural products.

L'Oreal Quick Stick foundation IS quick to apply, stays on ALL DAY, and does not break me out. I've tried much more expensive brands and keep coming back to this one. Clinque Touch Base eye shadow/shadow bases also stay on all day and do not crease. Finally, MAC Powerpoint eyeliners (not their others) are the ONLY eyeliners that say on me all day without smudging. As you can tell, as a college professor with a 15 month old daughter, my main decision-makers for favorite beauty products are that they go on quick and I don't have to touch them again all day.

I love Philosophy products. I work 12 hour shifts as a nurse and when I come home the cleanser does it all: remove mascara, melt foundation away, and take off dirt, and grime. I also love their moisturizer "hope in a jar." I have "supersize" versions bought from QVC.

These are the three products that I need to get out of the house in the morning:
Arcona Chamomile Balm
Clinique All About Eyes
Bumble and Bumble Gentle Shampoo
These are the additional three products that allow me to indulge myself:
Phyto 7 Daily Hydrating Botanical Cream (my long hair needs a lot of attention)
Fresh Sugar Lemon Body lotion
Nars Dolce Vita lipstick
These are the three products that I must have on my person at all times:
Kiehls Lip Balm #1
Aveda Hand Relief
Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara

I can't live without Murad Soothing Gel Cleanser. it calms the red areas of my face and just makes my skin feel clean!. I LOVE Burt's Bees Lip Tints and am thrilled that my favorite Burt's lip color FIG has been added to the choices. And I can't live without my Hemp hand cream from The Body Shop.

The three beauty products I can't live without: 1) Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer covers up my horrible undereye circles without settling in my little laugh lines and stays on all day. 2) L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream - it's amazing. 3) Neutrogena Triple Moisture Smooth Shine Anti Frizz Creme, which makes my hair as smooth as glass but without weighing it down.

I use a lot of stuff and can't say that I have a favorite that I'd never change but one of the things I truly love is Olay In-Shower Lotion. I have dry skin but don't feel like using lotion every day so with this product I don't have to! I also like Cetaphil face wash and L'Oreal microdermabrasion kit, it makes my skin really smooth and fresh.

Posted by: Eva| January 18, 2008 at 05:57 PM

I love Oil of Olay (combination/oily skin) w/SPF. I also use a hair paste from KLS which is great for short hair and lipgloss quads from Cargo. You have four colors to choose from and mix, and they look great over lipstick. BTW, I hate Bare Minerals/Escentuals stuff! It does nothing for my skin, as it does not last on combination skin. I'll stick to regular foundation...

Only three huh? Ok, well I know I can't live without Jergens Shea Butter Cream, GNC A, E, & D lotion for my face, and Nutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub. They all make me feel fresh face and body!

Posted by: Danielle| January 18, 2008 at 10:40 AM

1. Laura Mercier foundation primer
2. Fresh lotus eye gel
3. Fresh sugar lychee fragrance

Posted by: Barbara Gayle| January 18, 2008 at 05:05 AM

Bare Escentuals! I love this line of makup - it's quick to apply and is good for your skin. Tip to keep the loose powders from getting all messy when you travel: (and my 2nd favorite thing) Glad Press 'N Seal. Put it between the product and lid during travel and then there isn't too much powder on the lid.
