Dave Matthews Band song 'Everyday' always sets me straight when I'm feeling overwhelmed. Also, Jars of Clay song 'Flood' and U2's 'Beautiful Day' are both good ones to get unstuck too.

New Shoes by Paulo Nutini--It played all over Italy last year and sort of caught on in America, but it puts the light on the truth--new shoes do make you feel better. Women are funny creatures. If we look good, we tend to feel good. It's really that simple. Put on a fun outfit, the right shoes, and there's a a little bit of a breath of fresh air that we somehow give ourselves...and the little things that were getting us down seem to melt away. If you ever doubt it...just take a look at my shoe closet and check my friends on my outlook on life. :) Of course, at the core of it all--I'm an eternal Jesus Freak...so, that's where my foundation comes from.

"Feelin' So Good" by Jennifer Lopez. You can't go wrong with this song, it's been my mantra for years. Just check out the lyrics, they make you feel confident, sexy, and unstoppable!!

When I opened up my eyes today
Felt the sun shining on my face
It became so clear to me that everything is going my way
I feel like theres no limit to what I can see
Got rid of fears that were holding me
My endless possibilities
Has the whole world opened for me
Thats why Im feeling...

Chorus: Im feeling so good
I knew I would
Been taking care of myself
Like I should
cause not one thing
Can bring me down
Nothing in this world gonna turn me round...
Now the day is turning into night
And everything is still going right
Theres no way you can stop me this time
Or break this spirit of mine
Like the stars above Im gonna shine
Anything I want will be mine
Tonight Im gonna have a good time
Call a few friends of mine
cause Im loving life
And tonights for feeling...
(repeat Chorus)

I Can See Clearly Now (the Rain is Gone)

"Golden" by Jill Scott, which, along with some very empowering lyrics, has a catchy chorus that goes, "I'm living my life like it's golden, living my life like it's golden, golden!", all powered through by Jill's great voice. How can I not want to take on the world?

There are so many great songs, but I don't think anyone has mentioned "If my friends could see me now" from Sweet Charity. It makes me want to sing it out loud and strut my stuff.
Also, "You Can Do It" by Ice Cube is definitely one of my power songs.
